I’m LeeMakesNoises, aka Lee. A professional beatboxing tutor and workshop facilitator. As well as many years of performing experience, I have been teaching since 2007 nationwide and worldwide within schools, youth organisations, corporate events and music festivals. I also am an experience event DJ / Host and sound engineer.

I always look to run memorable and enjoyable sessions for everyone I work with. Each one being engaging, fun and interactive. Each person being involved and participating in the session is highly encouraged with an aim to promote confidence.

Clients include:
BBC / CBBC, P&O Cruises, Esprit, Festival Republic, Latitude Festival, Nottingham Trent University, Virgin Active, Glastonbury Festival & many more.

TV appearances include:

Lee delivered a beatboxing workshop to our young people at a unique setting. Being only 1 of 6 units of it’s kind in the UK Lee brought beatboxing into the world of secure mental health. Lee was fantastic with our young people, building a rapport with them very quickly and encouraging them to step out of their comfort zone and try something completely new. Lee adapted to the restrictions instantly and was keen to get all young people involved and not allow any barriers to hinder any engagement. Seeing the enjoyment on our young peoples faces I hope it made Lee’s journey down to the south worth while. Bringing staff and young people together for a completely new activity we will definitely be inviting Lee back to Bluebird soon.
